Good points, I checked PC controls and the only one that might work with a Gamecube controller is the Type I config since it's the only one that doesn't have the Left bumper assigned to anything. Since the Gamecube controler doesn't have a left bumper, a select button, or clickable sticks I have no idea how viable it would be for this port, tho. You can use your Gamecube controler as an Xinput controler without any aditional drivers.
